Louisiana’s 6th district recently elected Don Cazayoux as our Representative to the U.S. House of Representatives. The City of Central is located in the 6th district, which includes an eight parish area with a population of 638,000. This means Central makes up over 4 percent of the district. Consider how many elections are won and lost by the margin of voters in our City. CentralSpeaks.com encourages all of our voters to keep tabs on how well our elected officials are representing us. As we become aware of actions and votes made by our representatives which have a direct bearing on life in Central we will present the information on this site.
Congressman Don Cazayoux sent a letter to Majority Leader Steny Hoyer today urging a vote on expanded domestic drilling. Click this link to read his letter: LETTER
