CHS Wildcats Cruise Past Walker 52-0

By  |

CHS roared to a 30-0 first quarter lead and never looked back.  The stats for the game and season can be seen at the following links:  GAME STATS    SEASON STATS    While Central rolled up impressive stats and had many highlight-reel quality plays, it was obvious that Central is playing at a whole different level than Walker.  But let’s remember, not too many years ago Central was also struggling to find wins.  The team has certainly found a bunch of them this year, finding itself 6-0 after tonight’s game.

Eight receivers combined for 230 yards on 12 catches for a 19.2 yard average while quarterbacks Briscoe and Cutno combined for six TD passes.  Josh Veals returned a punt 45 yards for a TD and the defense forced two safeties, blocked a punt, had 3 sacks and 8 tackles for losses.
