On Saturday February 7, 2009, St. Alphonsus will have a silent and live auction to benefit an old tradition that is returning to our community, a parish fair. The auction will provide seed money for the fair which will be held May 1‐3, 2009. All proceeds from the fair will be shared equally between the church and the school. The auction will take place at St. Alphonsus in the parish gym. Advance tickets will be $10/person. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and bidding on fabulous items in our silent auction will begin. The live auction will start at 7:30 pm. We will also have a Taste Fair with approximately 10 vendors on showcase that evening. The names of the vendors will be announced soon. There will be a cash bar of beer and wine and live acoustical style music by St. Alphonsus own Jeff Hood. A $10,000 raffle will also be held during the evening. Please mark your calendars for February 7, 2009 for a night of terrific food, fun and entertainment.
