Students of the Year Recognized by Central School Board

By  |

Tonight the regularly scheduled Central Community School Board meeting was packed with visitors, teachers, parents, administrators and friends, all assembled to honor five Central “Students of the Year”.  The students were chosen from grades 1, 3, 5, 8 and 12, one student form each of our five school facilities.  The honorees were: Baleigh Sansone – 1st Grade, Aiden Wilson – 3rd Grade, Alexis David – 5th Grade, Emanuela Plummer – 8th Grade, and Cameron Cooke – 12th Grade.

Each student was awarded a plaque from the School Board, presented by Superintendent Faulk.  Additionally, members of the Central business community presented each of the students with financial awards in recognition of their achievements.  Congratulations to each of these students and to their parents and teachers.  They are representative of an entire school system full of promising young people who have helped Central Schools become one of the premier educational environments in the state.
