Free Tax Assistance Offered at Library

As April 15th draws neareer, a lot of people are feeling the stress of taz season. To help alleviate some of that stress, free tax preparation assistance is being offered at  AARP Tax Aide is a volunteer-run organization that helps people prepare their taxes. AARP specializes in low- and middle- income tax preparation, and they give special attention to those tazpayers over 60. AARP will be present at the Central Branch Library on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week from 9:15 AM until noon. People will receive help on a first come first served basis and should bring any information needed to prepare their taxes. AARP does returns on paper only. They will also be at the Greenwell Springs Road Branch this Thursday from 9:00 AM until noon.
