Why Are There Three School Tax Propositions?

By  |

Do we need all three propositions on the May 2nd ballot?

The school system is presenting voters with three dedicated propositions. Each proposition is designed to meet specific needs within the system. Voters may vote for one or more of the propositions without having to give consideration to the other(s). However passage of all three propositions best addresses the many needs of the school system.

Proposition One replaces Central Middle School.

Proposition Two repairs our other existing schools so that they may be used for years to come.

Proposition Three builds an elementary school, eliminating the need to lease Starkey Academy and many T-Buildings.
