St. Jude Bike-A-Thon This Weekend

This Saturday, May 30, there will be a bike-a-thon at Bellingrath Hills Elementary to benefit St. Jude Hospital. St. Jude operates both as a treatment hospital and a research facility. They focus on cancer and other serious diseases in children, and they treat patients whether or not their families are able to pay. St. Jude works largely off of donations and volunteer efforts, and this weekend is Central’s opportunity to contribute. The bike-a-thon will take place from 8:30 AM to noon, and people are welcome to bike, walk, or simply make a donation.
