Central Book Club

By  |

The Central Library Book Club meets on the last Thursday of every month at 11 AM at the Central Branch Library. The book club chooses from a wide variety of authors and genres, including at least one classic each year. In order to participate, simply read the book for the chosen month and come to the meeting to meet new people and discuss the book. It is recommended that you call ahead of time to reserve the chosen book (262-2640 for circulation). The following is a list of the books chosen by month for the remainder of this year:

August: Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult

September: Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion

October: Passion of Artemeisa by Susan Vreeland

November: My Mother’s Daughter by Judith Henry Wall

December: Travels with Charlie by John Steinbeck

Call the library at 262-2250 for more information on the Central Library Book Club.
