Christmas in Central begins this weekend. The nativity scene at the corner of Hooper and Sullivan are up, so take a look as you pass by.

The lighting displays and the Central Community Christmas Tree are both going up this week, also at Hooper and Sullivan.

The lighting of the Community Christmas Tree is this Friday, December 4. Activities begin at 6:30 PM. Zoar and St. Alphonsus will both have choirs there to kick it off, and that will be followed by scripture readings and the lighting of the tree. The lighting displays from area churches will also be up at that time for everyone to see. Come to the corner of Hooper and Sullivan that night to help kick off Christmas in Central.

Saturday morning will be full of things to do for the whole family. The arts and crafts fair in the Central Middle cafeteria, the Central business expo in the Central Middle gym, and the Central Christmas parade all happen this Saturday, December 5. Activities begin at 9 AM, with the parade at 10 going from Zoar to Central Middle.
