The Christmas Tree Recycling Program is still going on for anyone who has not yet taken down their trees. All trees picked up as part of this program will be turned into mulch or used as part of coastal restoration projects instead of simply going into the trash. Allied Waste will be picking up bare Christmas trees placed at the curb specifically for recycling from now until January 12. There are also drop sites for these trees that will be in use through January 25. Check the WEB PAGE for full details and collection locations.

The Economic Development Survey for the City of Central is still up on the Central Government WEBSITE. Central citizens are asked to fill out the survey and give their opinions on the development of Central thus far and to make suggestions of what they would like to see in the future.
