Free Tax Assistance at the Library

By  |

Beginning this week, free help is being offered to people over 60 and to low- and middle-income people at the Central and Greenwell Springs Road branch libraries. AARP volunteers will be at the library for a few hours each week to help with tax filing and to answer questions about doing your taxes. Space and time are limited, so arrive early to be sure you get seen. The tax assistance schedule is as follows:

CENTRAL BRANCH LIBRARY (assistance with e-filing):

9:15 AM- 12 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through April 7

GREENWELL SPRINGS ROAD LIBRARY (paper returns only):

9 AM- 12 PM on Thursdays through April 8
