Weekly City Update
On February 18 and 19, Landmor Drive between Greenwell Springs Road and Empress Drive will be closed. Landmor is the main road in the Bellingrath neighborhood. The storm drain line under the road will be repaired on those days. Empress Drive can still be reached via Morgan Road next to the subdivision.
As campaigning for the upcoming Central elections gets underway, please be aware of the REGULATIONS concerning political signs. This ordinance affects not only candidates, who can be fined for illegally placed signs bearing their names, but also Central citizens, who will be held accountable for any signs on their property that do not follow the ordinance.
The City of Central election for mayor, city council, and police chief will be held on March 27. The full LIST OF CANDIDATES has been posted. The deadline to register to vote is February 24 if you would like to take part in this election. Please come out and vote on March 27.
