St. Alphonsus Jump Rope for Heart

By  |

St. Alphonsus students showed their heart Friday, April 30th, during their Jump Rope for Heart event. Students participated in jumping rope, limbo, hula hoops, an obstacle course, egg and scooter races, as well as face painting. Just over $2,800 was collected and all proceeds were donated to the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease. St. Alphonsus would like to say a big thank you to Cox Communications for providing the tent and Coca Cola for donating coolers, Power Aid and cups. Also, they would like to say a thank you to all the parents that came to help out for this event. THANK YOU!

Pictures below are: 3rd graders at the obstacle course, 4th graders at the egg race, 6th graders after face painting, and 8th graders doing the limbo.
