Wildcat Baseball Beats St. Paul’s in Bi-District

Baseball: Central beat St. Paul's Wednesday in the bi-district round of the playoffs 7-6 in 8 innings. Jacob Lesage pitched the first three innings and Chet Myer pitched the second three innings. Kelby Blalock got the win by pitching the final two innings. Going into the bottom of the seventh, the Wildcats trailed 6-5. Chet Myer doubled off the wall, Justin Schopp got an infield single, and MJ Leduff drove him in to tie the game. In the bottom of the eighth with two outs and the bases loaded, Chet Myer got hit to drive in the winning run.  Central will move on to play #2 seed Destrehan, who also won their first round game.
