CHS Baseball Headed to Quarterfinals

Your 15th seeded Central Wildcats upset the 2nd seed Destrehan Wildcats Monday afternoon in Destrehan. Central touched up LSU signee McCune for two runs in the first inning and never trailed in route to a 3-1 victory. Kelby Blalock pitched the 5 innings giving up only 3 hits. MJ Leduff got the save holding the "other cats" scoreless for the final two innings. Central will continue their pusuit of a State Championship this Friday at Tulane's Turchin Stadium vs Barbe in the quarterfinals.
