Central School Board Seeks Public Input

By  |

The Central Community School Board, in addition to its seven elected members, has standing and ad hoc committees to assist in the task of leading the school system.  At its May 10th meeting, The School Board discussed the process of reviewing and revising the policies governing these committees, and has moved to seek public input in that process.  CentralSpeaks.com has been asked to call attention to a six-page set of documents available online at www.centralspeaks.com/ccss/policy.pdf and in hard copy at the School System office at 13421 Hooper Road, Suite 6.  The Board asks that all interested persons review these documents and give feedback to the board as to whether the proposed policies are sound and to suggest improvements in the process.  The existence of these committees allows interested citizens to be involved in the school system by serving on a committee or by attending open committee meetings and contributing ideas and helping to solve problems.
