Boy Scouts & Volunteers Give Stadium Restrooms a Facelift

Submitted by Christy Cashio

During Memorial Day weekend, the stadium restrooms at Central Middle School were given a facelift.  Chase Cashio, 15 years old and a boy scout from Troop 74, planned and oversaw the renovation for his Eagle scout project.  Fellow boy scouts, friends, and family helped with the 4 day project.  The walls and floors were pressure washed, repaired, and painted, and new mirrors were hung.  Chase also painted power cats on the walls to add school spirit.  The purpose of the project was to help build pride in the community of Central.
