Central Private Commended by Renaissance Learning

Central Private School has been commended by Renaissance Learning, Inc., parent company of the Accelerated Reader program, for outstanding achievement in reading by CPS students.  According to Accelerated Reader Real Time data, CPS elementary students using Accelerated Reader “read an average of 258,126 words EACH and have taken an average of 20 quizzes each, making Central Private School stand out on a national level for its impressive achievement in student reading practice.”

Janel Bliske, District Account Executive stated, “It’s clear your school has made a commitment to the importance of reading practice—a vital building block for students’ overall academic achievement.  It’s this kind of performance and dedication we’ll be looking for when we evaluate schools and districts this fall for our national reading achievement awards, such as our What Kids Are Reading Award!”
