Recognizing Our Veterans: Mr. Oadis W. Owen

Mr. Oadis W. Owen served as the nose gunner on a B-24 "Liberator" bomber during WWII.  He flew 35 combat missions over Germany.  Mr. Owen continued to serve his country both on active duty and as a reservist.  He served tours of duty in the Philippines, Japan and Germany.  He retired from the Army in 1983 as a Colonel.

Thank you to Mr. Owen and to all of our veterans for the service they give to our country.  If you are a veteran or if you know of one whom you would like to recognize, please send the details to beth@centralspeaks.com for printing online and in the paper.
