Aerobics by Roxanne, since 1983, has helped thousands get in shape in a fun filled workout environment.  “Magnolia United Methodist Church on Greenwell Springs Road opened its Bob and Carolyn Baker Family Life Center to allow me to teach fitness and promote wellness in our community.  I have been so blessed to be allowed to do what I so love doing!  We have fun in our classes.  We fellowship and support one another.  The morning class is called “The Msfits and the evening class is called “Happy Hour”.  I have students who began when I started 27 years ago who are still with me.  I am now teaching their children as well! The program is designed for all ages at all levels of fitness.  My youngest student is 10 and the oldest is in her early 80’s.  To love what you do and feel that it matters is one of life’s greatest joys!”

The workout is done to music in an hour format of warm-up, aerobics on or off the step, conditioning, toning, strength work with weights or bands and a final cool-down stretch.  It’s based on the principle that a good workout doesn’t simply make you feel better; it makes you feel better about yourself.  Roxanne is certified through ACE and Dr. Kenneth Cooper’s Aerobic Institute in Dallas, Texas.  The workouts are fun, safe and affordable!  We offer the classes year round with no contracts and the first class is no charge.

Classes are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:15 am and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:00 pm.  There is a nursery available for the morning class.  For more information, call Roxanne at 261-5539.
