The Central Wildcats stepped up last Friday night and proved that not only was last year’s victory no fluke, but Central is a force to be reckoned with.  The Wildcats opened the game with a touchdown and 2-point conversion less than five minutes in.  The Cats continued in that manner, scoring nothing but touchdowns all game.  The 29-13 victory was no walkover, however, as the two teams were nearly equal in both yardage and time of possession.  It was an exciting game, with Trevor Sansone and Cortlan Hutchinson racking up 63 rushing yards each, and Zack Edgens throwing for 99 yards in the game.  The most thrilling play of the game, however, had to be Austin Watts’s 99-yard interception return for a touchdown just as the Bears were about to score.  This season’s excitement continues to build as the 4-1 Wildcats look forward to Denham at home in a blackout this Friday.
