The Central Middle softball team is headed to their final regular season game this afternoon with a perfect record for both the 7th and 8th grade teams.  Last Thursday, the Lady Wildcats played only one game against Baker instead of their usual two, so the two CMS teams alternated innings.  The combined teams were fantastic, and it was clear how there was enough talent to form two teams this year.  The Wildcats dominated the game in what quickly became a blowout with solid pitching, good fielding, and heads up base running.  The girls were explosive at the plate, with several in-field home runs and lots of RBIs.  Congratulations to the Wildcats, who marked up another win on Monday, also.

Come see the girls play in their final regular season game today at 5:00 and 6:20 at Patriot Park on Joor Road.

Update: 8th grade team won this afternoon 9-2. I had to leave before the 7th grade one was over, but maybe someone can fill us in. If not I’ll call the school tomorrow. But congrats to these girls!

The girls did great Thursday night! Coach Aucion mixed things up Thursday night both games had 7th and 8th grade playing. The girls won both games! We are headed to West Felicina Thursday for the tournament to crown the league champs. Thanks Central Speaks for featuring our girls! Go Wildcats!
