Multi-Way Stop Being Installed in Indian Mound

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 26, 2010, a multi-way stop will be installed at the intersection of Chickasaw Ave and Blaspique Drive in Indian Mound subdivision as part of the city's traffic calming initiative. The necessary traffic calming study was conducted and indicated that there is a speeding problem on Chickasaw Ave. Residents in the area signed the necessary petition of support for a multi-way stop to be installed and all the criteria for traffic calming was met.

Advanced notification signs of the multi-way stop installation were installed on October 20, 2010 at the intersection.
