EBR Sheriff’s Office Hosting Hunter’s Sight-In Program

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office will host its Annual Hunter’s Sight-in Program starting Wednesday, November 3rd through Sunday, November 7th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Firearms Training Facility at 999 W. Irene Road, Zachary, La.  The event seeks to give hunters the opportunity to make sure their hunting and sporting rifles are properly sighted prior to the opening of hunting season to ensure everyone’s safety.
The Sheriff’s Office Firearms Training Unit in partnership with Baton Rouge City Police Firearms Unit will assist in mounting scopes, cleaning procedures and sighting rifles of all calibers.
This is a free service provided to the public. All weapons must be in good working condition and only factory ammunition will be fired.
