Light the Night in Central, the event that kicks off Cancer Awareness Week, started 3 weeks ago in Tanglewood Subdivision.  Residents placed lights in their driveways and walked around the neighborhood together to remember those lost and to honor survivors of cancer.  This year, there were approximately 55 homes with lights.  In a subdivision of 200 houses, that makes about 25%.  The lights are a symbol that the home has been impacted in some way by cancer.  Cancer is rampant.  We hope for more participation next year in every neighborhood in Central.  Next year, join in, remember, honor, and fight back!
