Central Community Assistance Foundation

City of Central, Louisiana – The Central Community Assistance Foundation (“C-CAF”) was invited to speak at Central’s Community Thanksgiving Worship Service. Mr. Ronnie Devall, Chairman of C-CAF, reported to the Central community on the mission of the foundation, who serves on the Board, how the Board was comprised, and an opportunity for support was presented to those attending.
The Central Community Assistance Foundation also announced that it is allowing the Central community to select its logo. Voting was opened on Wednesday, November 17th and will end at midnight on November30th. Central residents are invited to vote at www.helpcentralstudents.com.
The next open Community Meeting for C-CAF will be held December 9th at 6 p.m. in the Central Intermediate Library, where the logo selection will be unveiled, report on the offering from the community Thanksgiving service, and other reports will be given. Community members are invited to attend to learn more about C-CAF and join committees.
The Central Community Assistance Foundation exists to assist Central community students and their families who are in crisis or need, with support and services to build, strengthen, and sustain community life. C-CAF is a non-partisan, non-profit organization created to solicit and receive funds/resources for the purpose of assisting students and their families who live in the City of Central or within the geographical area of the Central Community School System and are “in transition” due to economic hardship and/or crisis. C-CAF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered with the Louisiana Secretary of State's Office; administered by a nine member Board of Directors, governed by Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws and Rules of Order.
