Church Christmas Events Celebrating the Reason for the Season

The following events were submitted by the individual churches.  All events below are free and open to the public.  Get in the spirit of the Christmas season by checking out what our local churches have put together.  ([email protected] to get your church’s event published at no charge.)

JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM AT BLACKWATER METHODIST

Saturday and Sunday, December 4th and 5th, 6:30-8:30 PM: A drive through presentation of the Christmas story shown in still scenes with live characters.

ZOAR BAPTIST CHILDREN PRESENT CAMEL LOT

Sunday, December 5th, 6:30 PM: Zoar Children’s Ministry will present a fun Christmas musical put on by the kids for the church and community.

JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM DRAMA AT MAGNOLIA METHODIST

Friday, December 10th, 6:00 and 7:15 PM: Magnolia Methodist will put on two performances of Journey to Bethlehem, an outdoor Christmas drama.

AN OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS AT MAGNOLIA METHODIST

Saturday, December 11th: Magnolia United Methodist Church Chancel Choir will celebrate the Christmas season with “An Old Fashioned Christmas” in the sanctuary.  This period piece drama will feature a medley of Christmas songs by the choir, a replication of an early twentieth century Christmas celebration, and the decorating of the family Christmas tree by children of the church.

A CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT ZOAR BAPTIST

Saturday and Sunday, December 11th and 12th, 7:00 PM (Doors open at 6:30.): Zoar Worship Ministry presents this Christmas event to the community.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH CENTRAL’S BRINGING CHRISTMAS HOME

Sunday, December 12, 10:30 AM: The musical drama “Bringing Christmas Home,” presented by the Sanctuary Choir and Drama Group.  Come experience the Bethlehem story- the story of a Savior who understands our pain and feels our heartache.
