New Residential Building Permits in Central

Residential building permit activity in the city of Central picked during the final months of 2010.  A total of 21 new residential building permits were issued during the months of November and December, bringing the total for the year up to 138.  In 2009, a total of 90 new residential building permits were issued. This represents a 53% increase in new home construction for 2010. The total building valuation of the 21 permits issued in November and December was $5,840,532.  The total building permit  valuation for the year was $38,295,232, up from the $24,282,485 valuation in 2009.

From these permits in November and December, two were issued in Morgan Springs subdivision with an average valuation of $166,870; three were issued in Village Lakes subdivision with an average valuation of $260,514; four were issued in Wisteria Lakes subdivision with an average valuation of $252,398; three in Village at Magnolia Square with an average valuation of $320,874; three in Bellingrath Lakes with an average valuation of $317,121; three in Woodstock subdivision with an average valuation of $211,560; and three on private lots with an average valuation of $389,117.
