By  |

Submitted by Linda Chapman

On Saturday January 15th, members of Girl Scout Troop 36, Boy Scout Troop 13, Cub Scout Pack 13, and their families met to celebrate Arbor Day by planting over 150 trees at Blackwater Conservation Area.  For the past several years all the scouts sponsored by Blackwater United Methodist have joined forces to plant trees and collect liter at the conservation area.

Thank-you to all the scouts, their scout leaders and their families who gave of their time and energy with planting the trees and picking up litter at the Nature Park here in Central that is known as the Blackwater Conservation Area. What a blessing to our town and a great way to show you care! May God bless you all in the name of Jesus!
