City Services Meeting Thursday at Fire Station

The City Services Committee meeting that was postponed from last Thursday is now being held this Thursday (tomorrow) at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Fire Station on Sullivan Road.  This meeting is open to the public.  At the meeting, the chairs from the subcommittees will report their findings to the full committee and the public.  This committee was formed several months ago to research possibilities for the future of City Services in Central.

    Wasn’t there for the whole meeting but what I did see was great. Not to take away from the others but anytime Fred Raiford is involved is is going to be professional. We had our differences of opinions on the thruway but he is good at what he does. We need an engineer for two years and then steal him away from Walker. Get him to commit to that. First city services meeting I’ve been to and it was impressive.
