A Spring Craft Fair to benefit the Girl Scout Leadership Program is being held on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Girl Scouts Louisiana East Regional Service Center, 545 Colonial Drive, Baton Rouge. The craft fair is being hosted by Girl Scout volunteer Bobby Mayo who is currently accepting registrations from interested vendors, with hopes it will become an annual event.
“Girl Scouts has been a part of my life for many years as the father of a Girl Scout and as a troop leader and volunteer camping trainer,” said Mayo. “I’ve seen first-hand the difference that the Girl Scout leadership program makes in the lives of girls, and I’m organizing this craft fair to support Girl Scouting for all girls in southeast Louisiana.”
Limited booth spaces are currently available for $25 per day or $50 for both days, with vendors supplying their own tables and chairs for set up. For more information or to register for the event, contact Bobby Mayo at 225-571-2081 or [email protected]. Additional information can also be found on the Girl Scout website at www.gsle.org
