Metro Councilman Trae Welch Holds Metro 1 Meeting

Metropolitan Councilman Trae Welch, District 1, will host a Metro 1 Meeting on Tuesday, March 1 at the Chaneyville Community Center, located at 13211 Jackson Rd. at 6:30 p.m. Councilman Welch would like to invite any citizen residing in District 1 to attend the monthly Metro 1 Meeting to voice their opinions, or to share ideas or suggestions. Dr. “Graydon” David Walker, Licensed Prevention Professional with I CARE will be the guest speaker, discussing prevention education in the areas of alcohol, tobacco, violence, crisis response and management to parents.
Each month, Councilman Welch moves around the district in an effort to reach each citizens he represents. Council District 1 covers the northern part of the parish, including Pride/Chaneyville areas, and the cities of Baker and Zachary and a small portion of Central.
