Central Private School Basketball Camp Registering Now

Central Private School announces their Basketball Camp.  The information is below, followed by registration instructions.

CAMP INFORMATION:

DATE: March 15-19

TIME: Tuesday- Friday 3:00 PM- 5:45 PM
Saturday- 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM

LOCATION: Central Private Gymnasium

WHO: Girls and Boys
Division A- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Grades
Division B- 4th, 5th, & 6th Grades

COST: $75 or $55 per additional sibling.
This will cover all instructional fees, camp t-shirts, and prizes for various contests.

CAMP SHIRTS: Each camper will receive a camp shirt the first day.  The t-shirt is color-coordinated with the team he or she will be playing for.

DRESS: Gym Shoes, Shorts, & Camp T-Shirts

COACH: Henry Gantz, Head Varsity Girls Coach

CONCESSIONS: Will be available for purchase during water breaks.

CAMP HIGHLIGHTS:
Daily skill instruction from CPS coaches and players
5-on-5 game play & championship tournament on Saturday
Skills competition
Hot Shot contest
Free Throw competition
Each camper receives an official camp t-shirt
Individual awards for skills

CAMP OVERVIEW:
Division A: For boys and girls in the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grades.  This camp will focus on the fundamentals: dribbling, passing, proper footwork, and developing shooting skills.  There will be games and competitions each day.
Division B: For boys and girls in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.  This camp will focus on fundamentals and developing individual offensive skills: shooting, cutting, and moving without the ball, and shooting off the dribble.  Team offensive and defensive principles will be covered.  There will also be games and competitions each day.
