Skip Bertman to Be Special Guest at Jazz Picnic

The Village at Magnolia Square, located at 13606 Lovett Road in Central, is hosting the first Jazz Picnic & Farmers Market of the year. Noted acoustic guitar players Chris LeBlanc and Kenny Acosta will perform live from noon to 4pm.

Special guest and official spokesperson for GMFS, "Skip" Bertman, a Louisiana legend and one of the greatest college baseball coaches of all time, will be in attendance from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. 
 
Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets and folding chairs. There will be a jump castle and kite flying for the kids.

Kleinpeter’s will be providing several flavors of ice cream and free samples for all. Local farmers will be selling spring produce around the Square.
