This week's City Council meeting has been moved to THURSDAY, MARCH 10th due to the Mardi Gras holiday.  The meeting will still be at Kristenwood at 6:00 p.m.

a) An ordinance to amend and re-enact Chapter 19 of Title 7 the Unified Development Code and to provide for related matters. (By Councilman LoBue)

b) An ordinance to amend and re-enact Chapter 4 of Title 7 the Unified Development Code and to provide for related matters. (By Councilman LoBue)

c) An ordinance to amend the 2010-2011 Fiscal Year Budget to appropriate funds for legal expenses (By Councilman DeJohn)

d) An ordinance to amend the 2010-2011 Fiscal Year Budget to appropriate funds for police vehicle equipment and donation of additional police unit including donation of paint and body work. (By Councilman Moak)

3) Public Hearing and action regarding the following instrument(s):

a) An ordinance to amend and re-enact Ordinance No. 2010-10 relative to building permit fees for residential construction for nonliving area and for accessory structures, plan review fees for single family residences and for accessory structures and inspection fees for re-inspections, to define accessory structures and to provide for related matters. (By Councilman LoBue) *This item was deferred at the last council meeting.

b) An ordinance to amend the 2010-2011 Fiscal Year Budget for Economic Development and to provide for related matters. (By Councilman Washington)

c) An ordinance amend the 2010-2011 Fiscal Year Budget to appropriate $944,469.32 of the half-cent sales and use tax appropriated in 2008-2009 and 2009-2019 dedicated for road improvements.(By Councilman Washington)

d) An ordinance to enact Title 13 Criminal Law, specifically Chapter 5 prohibited substances to prohibit the unlawful display, distribution, sale and/or possession of certain synthetic drugs within Central and to provide for related matters. (By Councilman Messina)

(2) Discussion and Action regarding the following case(s): 

1. SPUD-01-09 Small Planned Unit Development Revision (Central Square Phase 2) This property is located on Lot 4-B-2-A, being on the west end of Wax Road Extension near the Sullivan Road intersection in Section 68, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, Greensburg Land District, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The applicant is proposing the second phase of a Small Planned Unit Development consisting of office, commercial retail uses, and townhomes. The applicant requests a waiver of Ordinance 2009-08 requiring public sewer connections for residential subdivisions. (Applicant: Jeff Couvillion)

A motion to approve subject to all P&Z staff recommendations being addressed was made by Mr. Giles and seconded by Mr. Johnson. MOTION PASSED. 7 Yeas, 0 Nays.
