Countdown to Cookin’: 8 Days Away

    Cooking in Central, fondly know in Central as “Cookin'”, happens next Friday and Saturday, April 8 & 9.  Make your plans to attend Central's signature event.  Remember to buy your tickets early, especially for Friday's Crawfish Boil.  Tickets are available at all school offices, the Chamber of Commerce office, and Ross Tire.  Here is the schedule of all the stuff you don't want to miss: 

Cook's Meeting – Tuesday, April 5th – 7:00pm – St. Alphonsus Gym

Parking Meeting – Tuesday, April 5th – 6:00pm – St. Alphonsus Gym

Friday April 8 – Crawfish Boil and Band
                       3:00PM –  Parking lots open 
                       5:00PM – Doors open and Crawfish boil begins serving
                       6:45PM –  Progressive Auction
                       7:00PM – 9:00PM Band and Dance – Carbon Copy Playing 

Saturday April 9 – Cook Off
                       8:00AM –  Parking lots open
                       9:00AM – Doors open
                       9:00AM – 10:45AM -Entertainment
                       10:45AM – 11:00AM Opening Ceremony
                       11:00AM – Dinner serving begins
                       11:00AM – 12:00PM – Entertainment
                       12:00PM – 12:30PM – Progressive Auction
                       12:30PM – 1:00PM – Announce Cook Off Winners
                       1:00PM – 1:15PM -Raffle drawing for $10,000.00
                       1:15PM – 2:00PM – Entertainment

                    *Front lot at St Alphonsus School
                    *Open lot corner Frenchtown Rd &Greenwell Springs Rd
                    *Kristenwood Reception Hall on Greenwell Spring Rd 
                    *Fellowship Baptist Church at 14512 GreenwellSpring Rd
     Handicap parking available behind St Alphonsus Church and at Fellowship Baptist Church.  Shuttle buses, including handicap, will run between all parking lots and the event entrance on a regular basis. The event can only be entered from Frenchtown Rd.
