Remembering Dorothy Louise Richardson Basso
Dorothy Louise Richardson Basso, a long time employee of Rebel Electric and Confederate Heating & Air and a resident of Central, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 71. She was a native of Independence. She will be remembered for her fun-loving personality and caring spirit. She was born April 28, 1939, the daughter of the late O.C. Richardson and Hansbro Morgan Overmier. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa DuBroc; sons Donald, Ronald, and Bryan Basso; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Martello; and brothers, Clif and Jerome Richardson. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph A. Basso, Jr. and son, John Wayne Basso. A private service will be held at a later date.
