Central Area Girl Scouts Service Unit 104 had a Bridging Ceremony on Monday night May 16 at St. Alphonsus Catholic School to recognize girls who completed required activities to transition from one level to the next level of girl scouts. Four girls, listed in the picture above, accomplished this task. Daisy leader Anita LeDeaux Ricks and Brownie Leader Deanna Hamilton worked with these four girls to ensure they were ready to “Bridge Up” to the next level. Junior Troop 10134 provided guidance to the lower level girls and performed the Flag Ceremony during the event. Each girl, after crossing the bridge, was presented with a carnation and the Bridging Patch which will be placed on the girl scout vest. The girls and guests in attendance enjoyed punch and cupcakes decorated with bridges made by one of the Brownie moms, Heidi LuQuette.
