The ‘CARE PACKAGES SOLIDERS” program needs many small, individually packaged items to make a big impact on our deployed troops stationed all over the world.

Five hundred pounds is the goal set by the Republican Women of Central (RWC) who are partnering with the Blue Star Moms of Louisiana to send care packages from Central. RWC Chairwoman of this Community Service project is Louise Rauls. This is a high goal, but one we can reach.

Collection of items and money for shipping is being accepted at four locations in Central from now until August 12. This donation drive will conclude at the upcoming “An Elegant Evening of Fashion” at Kristenwood in Central.

The RWC Community Service Committee Chairwoman is Louise Rauls.

Locations are: Central Academy, 9730 Joor Road, Central
Ross Tire, 14330 Greenwell Springs Road, Central
Bone Marketing/ABC Print Copy Scan, 12628 Hooper Road, Suite B, Central
