EBR Clerk of Court to Model in Republican Women of Central’s Fashion Show

    East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court Doug Welborn will be a celebrity model in the Republican Women of Central’s upcoming event “An Elegant Evening of Fashion.”  The Republican Women of Central also report that State Senate-seeker, State Representative Mack “Bodi” White and State Representative Clif Richardson will also be models along with men and women sponsored by area businesses.

    “An Elegant Evening of Fashion” will take place Friday, August 12, 2011 at Kristenwood Reception Hall in the City of Central, Louisiana. Doors open at 6:30 pm with show beginning at 7 pm. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and cash bar provided. Raffles and prize drawings will be available, with admission tickets used for the grand prize drawing. Tickets for this Republican Women of Central fundraiser are $30 each or $50 per couple.

    Louisiana State Attorney General James “Buddy” Caldwell and Central’s own Gerri Campbell will give musical performances.

    Area boutiques and fine clothiers, such as Claire Marie’s, Laura’s, McLavy Ltd., White House Black Market in Perkins Rowe and Bridal Boutique,  are dressing the models in the latest fashions and accessories.  Hair and make-up services will be provided by Aimee-zing Celebrity Cosmetics, who has served TV, video production, print, and film make-up artistry including Miss USA 2010.
