Boutiques to Participate in Fashion Show This Friday

August 9, 2011 – CITY OF CENTRAL, LOUISIANA – This Friday, boutiques and fine clothiers in the area are participating in the Republican Women of Central’s "An Elegant Evening of Fashion". Claire Marie’s is displaying their modern fall casuals with sponsored models. Ditzy Daizy is presenting Deana Vickry in their dressy fall fashions. Representative Clif Richardson will sport a tuxedo from Central Tuxedo Rental, along with State Senator Dale Erdey. Representative Mack "Bodi" White will take the stage in this fall’s sportswear from McLavy Ltd.

Look for Central Councilman Aaron Moak in sportswear from AAS, and Councilman and Mrs. Tony LoBue in the latest formal fashions from Central Tuxedo Rental and Bridal Boutique. Other special guest models include State Attorney General Buddy Caldwell, Sheriff Sid Gautreaux, Clerk of Court Doug Welborn, Superintendent Mike Faulk, and School Board Member Roxanne Atkinson.

Other participating clothiers include Glam Junkie, Sweet Pea’s, Uniquely Yours, and Prima Ballerina. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening for gift certificates and prizes from Luxury Nails, Techni-Sun, Oak Point, Sullivan’s Hardware, Cajun Kitchen Gift Baskets, Twisted Daiquiris, Ross Tire, Salon Bella, and Central Cleaners.

Raffle tickets will be sold for grand prizes like a day at Via Veneto Spa, an on-site crawfish boil by Tony’s Seafood, a Mike Anderson’s Gift Basket, and a Brighton purse from Claire Marie’s.

"An Elegant Evening of Fashion" is this Friday, August 12, 2011 at Kristenwood Reception Hall. Doors open at 6:30 pm with show beginning at 7 pm. Hors d’oeuvres will be served with cash wine and beer bar available. Tickets for this Republican Women of Central fundraiser are $30 each or $50 per couple.
