LA Veterans Honor Medal Event This Friday

    On Friday, September 9 at 12:30 p.m., Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs (LDVA) Secretary Lane Carson, along with Governor Bobby Jindal and local officials, will host a Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal ceremony to award Medals to East Baton Rouge Parish and surrounding area Veterans.

WHAT: LA Veterans Honor Medal Ceremony honoring and thanking East Baton Rouge Parish and surrounding area Veterans for their military service.  Applications for the Honor Medal will be available at the event – Veterans applying on-site must bring a copy of their DD214 or discharge papers.
