Thank You to Our Scouts

Note: This letter is in response to the scouts placing almost 3000 flags along the trail at the Conservancy this past weekend – one for every life lost on September 11, 2001.

    I would like to congratulate and say a special "thank you" to Boy Scout Troop 13, Cub Scout Pack 13 and Girl Scout Troop 10036.  My family and I decided to select one special event to attend (besides church service) to commemorate the tragedy of 9/11.  We selected your unique memorial at the Blackwater Conservancy and what a wonderful choice we made.  It was our first visit to the conservancy but I'm certain it won't be our last.  This was such a thoughtful and unique way to remember this horrendous occasion.  Thank you so much,
