ARPA Members Recognized at Council Meeting

Members of the Amite River Preservation Association were recognized at Tuesday’s Council meeting by Mayor Watts. Four of the members were in attendance. The Amite River Preservation Association has spent months picking up trash along the Amite River. They were also honored at a meeting of the Amite River Basin Commission recently. Congratulations to this group of young volunteers, and thank you for all of the work that you are doing! Pictured above are Jake Venable, Cole Sevario, Matthew Venable, and Cade Sevario.
