Voter Turnout Is Key – GO VOTE

By  |

While it seems obvious, it s worth saying a few days before an election, especially in a City that will be focused on watching the #1 LSU Tigers do battle with the reigning national champion Auburn Tigers. The candidate with the most supporters does not always win. The candidate with the most VOTES wins every time.  If you think your candidate is behind, GO VOTE. If you think they are a sure winner, go vote. In short, GO VOTE. If you forget to vote early, vote at halftime. The polls open at 6 AM and close at 8 PM. Remember to bring a photo ID. GO VOTE.

So many people sacrificed for me to have the right to vote for whom I choose. What a privilege to be blessed with. It’s a shame I don’t feel patriotic at this time. So looking forward to getting this over with so we can get past the trash we’ve been muddling around in the last few weeks. Let the healing begin!

Im with you man. Its gotten deep around here. “People, I just want to say, you know, can we all get along? Can we get along? Can we stop making it, making it horrible for the older people and the kids?…It’s just not right. It’s not right. It’s not, it’s not going to change anything. We’ll, we’ll get our justice….They won the battle, but they haven’t won the war….Please, we can get along here. We all can get along. I mean, we’re all stuck here for a while. Let’s try to work it out. Let’s try to beat it. Let’s try to beat it. Let’s try to work it out” My boy -Rodney King
