Troop 74 Eagle Scouts Recognized

Chase T. Cashio                          

AGE:  16

TROOP:      74; Central, LA

PARENTS:  Casey & Christy Cashio

SPONSOR:  Oikos Ministries

SCHOOL:    Central High School

                     Junior

Chase is active in sports at CHS and is a member of the National Beta Club.  He has been named to the academic Honor Roll.

SCOUTING HIGHLIGHTS:

Chase attended Camp Sid Richardson in Texas for the 2011 summer camp, where he completed the Sailing, Computers and Oceanography merit badges.  In 2010, Chase refurbished the Central Football Stadium bathrooms for his Eagle Project.  Chase was recognized at the Eagle Court of Honor on October 30th; his Eagle date of rank is 9/8/11.

GOAL:  Chase would like to pursue a career in Civil Engineering.

 

 Brandon C. Munley                                                                      

AGE:  15

TROOP:      74; Central, LA

PARENTS:  Marty & Beth Munley

SPONSOR:  Oikos Ministries

SCHOOL:    Central High School

                     Sophomore

Brandon is a member of Junior ROTC and National Beta Club at Central High and has been named to the academic Honor Roll.

SCOUTING HIGHLIGHTS: 

Brandon attended Camp Sid Richardson in Texas for the 2011 summer camp, and he also completed a 125-mile canoe trip in Minnesota this summer.  For his Eagle Project, Brandon designed and constructed 11 composite-wood benches for Victory Academy to help facilitate student retrieval at the end of each school day.  Brandon was recognized at the Eagle Court of Honor on October 30th; his Eagle date of rank is 9/8/11.

GOAL:  Brandon would like to pursue a career in the United States Air Force and wants to attend the USAF Academy.
