Schedule of Events for Friday’s RWC Veterans & Soldiers Celebration

A BIG THANK YOU to Ron Erickson for loaning the sound system from his church, Future Hope Ministries,  and Gerald Reed and Ed Edwards with Veterans Helping Veterans for providing Color Guard and trumpeter for TAPS. Thanks also go to the Caldoneon Society for their willingness to support the evening ceremony with Bagpipers and Drummers!!

Between ceremonies, attendees will be encouraged to get acquainted, thank our soliders and veterans, meet the Sampey brothers, Harold Laird and others involved in making this day possible.

    Glad to see the involvement of three local church pastors in this event: Brother Ron Erickson, Brother Dick Metz, and Brother Terrell Hebert. An event like this is such a positive thing for our community and country. All the individuals and groups helping out with and supporting this event are to be commended! I am glad that I am a citizen of a city that stands for such positive things!
