The Central Wildcats (5-4, 3-1 district) travel to Live Oak (2-7, 0-4 district) Friday night with a chance to clinch a share of district title. The Eagles are having a down season but are still a very dangerous football team. They are coached by former Central offensive line coach David Dykes, who is in his second season. They return 13 starters (6 on offense, 7 on defense) and are led at quarterback by former Central wide receiver Cole Leblanc. The Wildcats currently sit at #32 in the power rankings and would be guaranteed a playoff spot with a win Friday night. There might be many different scenarios and matchups for Central in the first round, but the Wildcats first have to take care of business Friday night, and everything will be revealed on Sunday.
