Central Dental Care, located in the Central Park Professional Plaza on Sullivan Rd., suffered an electrical fire on Friday, October 28th, at approximately 10:30 pm.  A call was placed to the Central Fire Department, which, with the help of the Zachary Fire Department, was able to quickly contain the fire to the rear section of the building.  Their quick response and courageous effort was able to minimize the damage to the building.

Dr. Jacob Henderson, Dr. Jimmy Hebert, and their team would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the fire department for their swift action and expertise.  Also, to whoever was able to inform the fire department of the fire, as this information is still unclear.  In addition, a tremendous thank you would like to be extended to the Central Community for its concern, kind words, and outreach, especially the local dental community, whose outreach has been truly remarkable.

Due to the fire and smoke damage, all operations at the facility have been suspended until clean-up is complete.  However, all existing patients should know that limited procedures and emergencies can be seen at the office of local orthodontists Drs. Sherman and Balhoff who have allowed the use of their facility to Drs. Henderson and Hebert.  Patients should call Central Dental Care at 261-6645 for questions, concerns, and to schedule an appointment.  Normal operations at Central Dental Care are expected to resume shortly, within the month of November.
