A stunning victory in a game nobody gave the Wildcats a chance to win. This Friday night, if you’re a Central grad, or fan, be there. pack the stadium. I would love to see 10,000 screaming Central fans at the game, to help the Wilcats rock Ruston. Pack the Cat House!

What an exciting game to witness. The coaches did an amazing job of preparing the team to play in the first half. St. Paul’s had no answer on either side of the ball. I figured the #1 seeded team would make adjustments at the half, to make a run at the Cats, and boy did they, scoring 21 unanswered points. The game winning drive was pure determination by a team not wanting to concede victory. The offense executed fearlessly down the field even though the momentum was in the Wolves favor the entire second half. How great it is that the seniors, and their parents, are blessed with another “Friday Night Lights” at Wildcat Stadium. Since they beat the #1 seed, the Wildcats now have the benefit of a favorable bracket.
